The Jungle Book was written by Rudyard Kipling in 1894 and is a collection of stories inspired by tales of the Indian jungle, the stories he heard when he spent his childhood in India. This book was followed by a second book in 1895 and talks about the adventures of a lost child human Mowgli, who is rescued and fed by wolves and other animals in an Indian jungle. In 1967, Walt Disney decided to produce an animated film inspired by The Jungle Book was the 19th animated film from Disney Animation Studios. It was released on October 18, 1967 and raised nearly $ 73 million U.S. dollars only. Let's walk down memory lane and meet the Jungle Book characters.

Mowgli: The main character is the Jungle Book Mowgli, an abandoned baby human or "man-cub" who is rescued by animals in the jungle and is appointed by Bagheera. The book describes his adventures with the jungle animals as it is growing.
Bagheera: A black panther that Mowgli is an orphan baby and takes him to Raksha. But he is convinced to let him return to the village between humans Mowgli as he thinks does not belong in the jungle.
Raksha: She is the mother wolf who takes care of Mowgli and raises it over her cubs.
Akela: A wolf in India in the Council of wolves, Mowgli wants to return to the human village.
Baloo: Baloo is a bear who loves cheerful and teaches Mowgli the jungle roads. It teaches you to use the boomerang and steal the honey from the hives. You may remember the song "basic needs", Baloo loves to spoil Mowgli Mowgli and does not want to return to the village.
King Louie: The orangutan who wants to know how to make fire and flame "red flower of man." Mowgli bananas will return to let him stay in the jungle.
Shere Khan: He is the tiger who wants to kill Mowgli and Bagheera and the Wolves want to send him back to the village. Mowgli fights Shere Khan are some of the unforgettable scenes of the film.
Kaa, the python Kaa is you want to eat Mowgli before Shere Khan and so is always looking for Mowgli. He even tries to hypnotize and coil around and kill him, but is saved by Bagheera.
Colonel Hathi, Winifred and Junior: These characters are friends of the family of elephants that help when you need Mowgli and Junior, the son of Colonel awkward is a good friend of Mowgli.
Buzzie, Flaps, and Ziggy Dizzie: These four characters are the vultures that resemble singing 'of beetles and always singing to passersby.
Radha: She's the girl human, Mowgli is in the river and follow it to the human village. He wants to know if there are more like him and finally finds them, leaving Baloo and Bagheera to see him go.
There are two Jungle Book characters that are in the book, but is not included in the film. Are Chil, the Kite, which plays an important role in the book and Tabaqui cowardly jackal is actually the companion of Shere Khan. So those, in short, are the names of the jungle book character that are truly unique and memorable.
